Rap is just garbage that has lost all meaning, enough said.

I sorta like psychadelic 1960s rock, and heavy metal. But I need help finding some more good types of music. Please make a good recommendation for me. Thx.

try punk and emo. Some of the bands I like are:

Fall Out Boy
Cute Is What We Aim For
The Almost
The Academy Is
Panic! at the Disco
My Chemical Romance
The Audition
Cold War Kids
The Hush Sound
The Fratellis
Silversun Pickups

These artists are good but don't fall into the same category as the ones mentioned above:

Joss Stone
John Legend
Johnn Lang (blues, incredible)
James Morrison
Elliott Yamin
Maroon 5 ( their first album is awesome, their new one is out May 22)

I don't blame you for losing interest in rap...I was never interested to begin with! Some really great rock/psychadelic/prog rock/metal bands are The Doors, Pink Floyd, Rush, The Who, Black Sabbath, Audioslave, The Beatles, and Cream.

Good old fashioned Rock n' Roll !

Some heavy metal groups - not all, but some ...

New Age

Folk music - from the 60's & 70's

Psychedelic music from the 60's and 70's was very "groovy!"

Good music is just good music - no matter what type!
I think you need to give it all a chance & a listen - you are bound to find some good and some bad in each genre.

Just here to make a point....and get 2 points.
The funny thing is that you criticize rap for it's content - but Rock N Roll and Heavy Metal worship Satan. WTH? There have been noted Rock N Rollers/Heavy Metal icons that have been arrested/convicted for child molestation, drug charges, etc.
AND MOST of them....are about 197 yrs old (i.e. Aerosmith) and Paul McCartney. (Case in point: Keith Richards recently admitted to snorting his father's ashes with cocaine. WTF?)
Funny.

Has ANYONE noticed or even mentioned that the Virginia Tech murderer WAS a LED ZEPPELIN FAN and worshipped Ozzy Osbourne?
Hmmm, I'm sure that NO ONE has addressed that. OR has addressed the fact that MOST serial killers have admitted to being Rock N Roll or Heavy Metal fans. Hmmmm...food for thought.

Oh, but it's all rap music's fault. Funny.

i think of these days, there has been particularly a "steel as artwork" circulate, by using many distinctive forms of steel. My favorites of this vogue may be "positioned up-steel" bands including Isis, Cult of Luna, Pelican (rather, older Pelican: 2005 and earlier), Rosetta, the sea, and particularly some many others. As I reported earlier, nonetheless, this has been a vogue in the time of all of steel, alongside with many distinctive subgenres: Wolves interior the Throne Room Altar of Plagues Baroness Enslaved Converge Agalloch Amesoeurs Burst Helms Alee Jodis Mastodon Ocean (to not be perplexed with the sea, yet i recommend you seem up the two) Cormorant outdoors of steel, my fashionable variety of rock may be positioned up-rock which usually breaks freed from the common song shape. in case you do unlike instrumental song, perhaps you may desire to seem someplace else, because of fact vocals are quite uncommon in this kind, yet you complained approximately vulnerable, sappy, formulaic song, and you may desire to confess, that's distinctive: Godspeed You!
