I hope they do not remove your question because I have an answer for you! Alec Baldwin is not the biggest you know what! Frankly speaking I put the blame for all this on the child! Having had 4 daughters and been divorced I know the problems that children at this age can cause divorcing parents, especially GIRLS! 11, 12, 13, Years old or older these children are not the innocent little wee ones people make them out to be! These children will lie, cheat, ruthlessly make trouble, pit one parent against the other, the sennarios can be endless! Now why you ask do these children do this, well it is because they have come to realize that if mom and dad are at each others throats they can get more. More attention, more material things etc. etc. these children can become very, very, SELFISH and reap plenty of havoc on their divorcing parents. I would not be at all surprised if it was not the daughter herself that released that tape! All to get back at daddy!.

No I don't believe he is. Alot of people are jumping to the defense of the kid, but listen to what Alec Baldwin says in the message. This is not the first time she has not accepted his call. The way his shared custody works, he has a set time in which to call her, and she did not answer her phone "again." He's angry, he may have gone overboard in expressing his anger, but he apparently has told her before--when I call, you pick up the phone. She is disrepecting her father by repeatedly ignoring his call.
You don't know what kind of relationship they have. You have no idea what kind of kid Ireland Baldwin is. She could quite very well be a "rude little pig." Children are not all angels. Anyone who has children know this. Yes, he should not have left her a message like that, he should have waited until he actually got ahold of her to tell her off. You never put anything in an email that you don't want haunting you in court, and you don't leave messages you don't want posted somewhere or leaked to the media. He was acting out of anger, but he's paying for it now by the embarrassment of it all. Don't be so quick to judge. You're not in his shoes.

I blame Kim not Alec, why can't he be part of his daughters life ,just because his true colors came out after they were married she should of thought of the consequences . Now he loves his daughter and she is being trained by Kim to treat him like crap, He's a pissed off Dad.Those Baldwin men all appear Hot headed.

Even though what he said was wrong and out of line, there are worse parents out there. There are parents who curse at their children in some neighborhoods! It's crazy but the truth! But he and Kim both need to stop using the child as a pawn in their nasty custody battle! The child would be better off with a pack of wolves or with a foster family who would actually love her and care about her and not just use her in an inflated, nasty ego battle!

I think that they message shouldn't have been told to the whole world. Alec has a right. He was obviously a litted p***ed off. He has a right to privacy. I don't know what Kim was thinking but Alec surely had his mind set. Don't you remember when you were a kid and your parents would get so ticked at you. They'd say that you were dead, but they didn't mean it.
I do feel bad for Ireland though. She was publicly humiliated. But I think her mother is the one that sold the recorded voice message to the public. It's all Kim's fault I think.

It may have been a poor choice of words on his part but we don't know the whole story. I am beginning to think that Ms. Basinger was playing little games, and she got him right where she wanted him. She was wrong for blaring that on the t.v. that is a very personal issue and it should of stayed at home. And it just makes me mad as hell that these superstars always are crying about their privacy and then they go and do stupid things like this.

He is an ******. And what's wrong with a child not wanting to be chewed out and threatened by an abusive, out-of-control dad? Don't forget, Baldwin has a history of being abusive in public too. This is nothing new.

Granted he should not have said that to his daughter and he wasn't the greatest husband.
BUT......
I believe he was set up by Kim Bassinger to get full custody of Ireland and for him not to get any visitation rights.
