Well, I do wonder what you mean by barely made it in. BUT you don't deserve the beating you are getting in this post. Looking at Western qualifiers, only 8th place Calgary had fewer wins than Anaheim. And they only made it to second by picking up more single points than anyone else in the play offs. Single points many of us feel should not be part of the game. Those ties don't get you anywhere in the playoffs, you have to be able to finish the job.

I don't know that "barely made it in" is a correct statement. The winner of the series is the winner. That's the way it is. I've always talked about how the good teams find a way to win. Sometimes it isn't pretty, but with 7 games in each playoff series even the best teams can loose a game or two and come back to win it.
I've always liked the Ducks - maybe just because of that silly looking mascot.

Where did you get that idea? Looks to me that if Giguere and Pronger did not have their long IR stints that this club could have finished best in the west which would be an achievement since the Red Wings get a headstart every year playing Columbus, Chicago and St Louis.
It's a good solid club built for the playoff grind and they have the horses to take them all the way. I think only SJ and Buf could stop them.

The ducks were arguably the best team in the west over the entire season. If not crushed with injuries they would have outpaced the redwings i think. You forget how dominant the ducks were in the first half of the season, then they suffered a spate of injuries and slid a bit. Now, they have folks healthy again. you kidding me..any team with selanne, S niedermeyer pronger, and jsg is pretty stout.

Since when is #2in the conference barely making it in. I guess you east coast people don't see a lot of west coast teams, but they've been good for a few years. Probably gonna win it all this year. I honestly think they can beat any team left 4 out of 7 times, but have a hard time seeing them loose 4 of 7.

How can you say they barely made it in? They had just as many point as the Predators but wait, they finished ahead of them... but they barely made it in. The Ducks are an amazing team and I predict they will go to the Stanley Cup Finals against the Sabres.

What do ya mean they just "barly made it in!?"
They were pacific coast division champions. Second place. They eliminated Sharks and Stars from their chance and Division champions. Ducks rock.

...huh...?
Why don't you do a little research before posting total BS?
The Ducks are having a great year!
Also, using numbers instead of letters is just lame. do you not know how to spell "for"? And it's "barely", not "barly". And "Ducks", not "Duck"....

well 1st let me say that you are not the brightest cranyon in the box. how can you say a team that started off with an NHL record best start and finished 2nd overall in the western conference not to mention 1st in probably the best division in the NHL, ( the pacific with SJ and Dallas)
The Ducks have the best Defense in the NHL and one of the best powerplays and one of the best goalie combos in the league.
know your topic before you say something you dont know anything about
