Depends on that full time job. Some employers limit your additional employment, usually a company policy or rule. Sometimes this is expressed as a limitation on working in the same industry, for competitors, etc. You may also have signed a confidentiality agreement which limits additional employment. To be sure that your part time job is not against the company's rules you might try asking your HR Department.

As for taxes, you are taxed on your total income, no matter how many employers pay that income.

As long as the schedule for one doesn't coincide with the other and there's no conflict of interest - why would they need to know?

It won't affect your tax from your full time job, but you will probably get some kind of a refund at the end of the year - assuming your part time job isn't off the books.

you don't have to tell your employers, but make sure that it doesn't affect your full time job...i'mve been working 2 jobs for 7 years it get tiring. also when filling out your tax forms for the new job thier is an area to check saying it is a second job. if you don't check it then they will not take any taxes from your second job and at the end of the year you end up owning the government or not getting as much back as you would

I wouln't tell my full time employers unless you want to- there is no reason for them to know. It will affect your taxes at the end of the year since you will be taxed at each job as if it were your only one, but at the end of the year, when your salaries would be merged for tax return purposes, you could possibly be in a higher bracket and owe money.

If you are in the UK, you don't have to inform your main employer unless your contract specifies it. Your second employer will inform the tax office you are working for them and that tax office will tell the second employer how much tax to deduct from you - probably at 22% of you earn over £5195 at your main job. It won't affect your code number at your main job.
Dale doesnt know a lot about tax if he thinks you get two personal allowances if you are self employed.

No your boss doe not need to have that information. As long as your jobs don't hinder each other that is you own business. As far as your tax goes Yes, that will make a difference in your income so, therefore your tax level may change.

you should tell your full time employer as well so that more tax can de withheld. Otherwise you will owe a bit at the end of the year. Part time jobs never take off enough income tax

Yes - you should mention it. I am sure they won't mind as long as there is no conflict of interest (i.e. working for a competitor). For years I had two jobs - my main job and then another weekend/evening job (to get on the property ladder) and never had a problem with my main employer. Good luck in your second job! - you will be a busy lady....

so long as your part time job does not interfere with the full time you don't need to tell anyone anything if you don't want to. however you will pay 40% tax on your second job so i think you will find it's not worth it.

Yes because there may be legal implications and if you don't tell them and don't get your tax sorted you could get slapped with a fine for evading taxes and a large bill for back payment of taxes.
