so the question is: (55+ 5-15+9+110)(-5)? if so than the answer is -820.
Or if the question is (55+5-15+9)+(110x-5), than the answer is
54 + 550 = -604

However, if the negative sign after the last five is a typo than the anwes are positive 820 or 604 respectively.

604

Math rules say that you do the multiplication before the addition and subtraction:

55 + 5 -15 +9 +110 x 5
= 55 + 5 -15 + 9 + 550

55 + 5 = 60
60 - 15 = 45
45 + 9 = 54
110 * 5 = 550
550 + 54 = 604

55+five-15+nine+110xfive
= 55-15+110xfive+five+nine
= 40+ five(110+1)+nine
=40 + 111five + nine
=604
or
= six zero four

but if you meant: five- = -5
=55+five-15+nine-110xfive
= 55-15-110xfive+five+nine
= 40+ five(-110+1)+nine
=40 - 109five + nine
= -496
or
= four nine six -

note: first do 110xfive

its either 820 or 604. it depends whether or not u do the multiplication before adding (so u add 550) or whether u do the adding (add 110) and then multiply 164 by 5 to give 820.

My answer to a normal maths question would be 820 (60-15 =45 +9=54+110=164x5=820) but I feel this is a bit of a trick question and there is some significance with every other number being expressed in letters - or am I reading too much into simple mental arithmatic?
