Do I get a special printer? Or some sort of kit? Or what?

Is there more then one way? If so, can you list all the ways I can do this?

No kit necessary. Just a package of transfer paper form the craft store or office supply. It will have all the instructions you need. Make sure your printer is not low on colored ink, and remember your design will be reversed when it's ironed onto the shirt. .

I bought Iron On Transfer paper at Wal*Mart that is compatible with an InkJet Printer.

You can get Iron-on printer sheets or a screen-printing kit

my daughter and i were just talking about that for father's day. she sais they have the iron on stuff for the printer at wal-mart. it has the directions on the packaging
