I would classify Ms. Winfrey as neither. She is a talented woman who under the circumstances did not arrive in the passion of a loving husband and wife and grew up in a jeweled and rich family, but of the exact opposite - and yet has proven to many that with faith in yourself and perserverence, and determination, you can be what you want to be and do what you want to do and then some. She is encouraging and very powerful as a woman, and contributor to the world. She has never just 'gone after the buck' - I believe her steps were ordered by God and as she moved in the direction of His lead - the blessings poured in. That's not exploitation - that's just God's promise fulfilled.

i look at her as a saint! she gives alot to charities all over, and she is constantly spending money on her fans on certain shows....shes not a stingy person at all..hell...for my bday she gave me a camera and several other goodies just because my cousin worked for her! shes not "exploiting" herself, shes getting the news out there, broadcasting what she is doing so that others, just like what "american idol" did, can help in the aid to save starving and diseased infested countries.
