Sounds like a urinary tract infection or a bladder infection. Do you have a bit of a fever?

I think they are a bit more common during pregnancy, I'd give the doctor a call and then that way they can make sure and get you on the road to recovery.

Good Luck

Strong smelling urine can be from not drinking enough water. Cloudy urine can be from proteins in your urine (what they check for with the urine test at the beginning of each doctors visit). Both can be signs of bladder infection.

Give your OBs office a call and ask if you can stop in to get tested for urinary tract infection. When I had one they didn't even have to fit me in with the doctor, they just did the test in his office then he called in a prescription to my chosen pharmacy later that day.

You might have a bladder infection. If you are constantly going to try to pee, but not much comes out and when you get up you feel like you have to go again, that's a big sign. See your doctor.

sounds like dehydration. if your pee is dark yellow and smells terrible, you definitely need more water in your system. if you are very far along in your pregnancy ( like second trimester), your whole bottom probably feels weird from all the pressure. is this your first pregnancy? try increasing your water intake. you should pee every hour when you are pregnant, from the pressure and extra fluid intake.

All of that can be completely normal in pregnancy. If you are concerned, I would definitely check with your doctor since you want to take all of the precautions you can while pregnant. You could have a Urinary Tract Infection that needs to be treated.

Sounds like a UTI, which is pretty common in pregnancy. Call the doc and they will tell you what to do.
DON'T forget to call them-undiagnosed UTIs are bad for baby and for Mom.
