who believes about what is going to happen to Earth on Dec 21st 2012? And your opinion about it.

I expect good things for December 21, 2012. But about a year before this date, in February 2012, Our Sun will experience its cyclical 11 year pole shift. Our own Earth's Magnetic North pole has been migrating to the South Atlantic since 2001. I'm not sure if a scheduled planetary alignment in early 2012 will have anything to do with what might happen, or if global warming will have a role in it, but some think our Earth may join our Sun in its scheduled Pole Shift. I for one plan on taking shelter away from any coastlines, low lying areas and fault lines; maybe I will take refuge in the desert or snow country. The following is a summary of the Mayans and their predictions for the time.

The Mayan Indians regard their beliefs as both a science and a religion. Their discoveries are not done in a lab but rather by tapping into the cosmos via the mind. Through the extensive use of meditation, they are able to discover and track planetary movements as well as space anomalies such as black holes. They used this information to construct a calendar so accurate that no present day calendar can rival its accuracy. They also use this information to predict future events.

According to some Mayans, this date marks the end of the long count of their calendar; Set to end on a winter solstice (12-21-12). On this date, our Solar system will be center aligned , in the Milky Way's equator. Our sun will be centered in a position called "The Tree of Life", as it does every 25,800 years. We will have exited the forth dimension and entered the fifth dimension. This date also marks the end of the Mayan "Great Cycle" of the long count, which is equivalent to 5125 years. We exit the age of Pisces and enter the age of Aquarius.

In this position, unusually violent sun spot activity may cause a pole shift. Earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods will run ramped. Significant loss of life will occur. Earths magnetic field will temporarily collapse. Humans will be exposed to a cosmic energy that will facilitate enlightenment. In this state of higher consciousness, we will recognize that all matter, plant, animal, mineral are bound as one. This realization will mark the end of wars for a time. People will be able to connect to the essence of god (vibrating energy) like only the most enlightened can.

The date marks a goal to be reached. Evil forces will make every effort to keep humanity from reaching the date. These evil forces are those entrenched in the third dimension, in the Material world. They have no desire to leave this age and wish to continue exploiting and endangering all life for material gain.

Wars just prior to this date could be most devastating, with a loss of as much as 2/3 of our population anticipated. The resulting man made environmental damage could make life inhospitable for those who survive.

nobody knows, some people believe that the apocalypse will begin, other people believe that a new era will begin, and the rest just think that nothing is going to happen and that we are just going to live everyday life as usual. What do we know is going to happen?? Well, the Mayan calendar ends on 2012, the White Buffallo will die in 2012 (Indians have said that the sign of the end of the earth will be a white buffalos birth, one was born in 2003 and the average lifetime of a buffalo is 9 years, it will die around 2012), In the biblical Code for the year 2012 the word "Comet" is found....well in my opinion I think nothing is going to happen, I think that the mayans just ran out of space with the calendar, or never got to finish it, because they all just disappeared one day out of the blue, nobody knows what happened to them or where'd they go, a whole civilization just dissapeared out of nowhere, freaky huh? That scares me more than 2012 and for the bible and the white buffalo i think it could just be a coincedence, but who knows, only God...

Well... for one thing, it has nothing to do with astronomy. It's pure superstition generated by someone with no scientific knowledge whatsoever. It's the last day of the Mayan calendar. My calendar's last day is December 31, 2007, but I don't believe that the world will come to an end on that day... I'll just go out and get another calendar.... just like every other year.

satisfied New 12 months everyone, i wish you're all doing great, and had interesting on the hot years eve :) I stayed homestead and studied :( It develop right into a really boring thanks to have a good time the hot 12 months xD BQ: i might want to favor that Federer might want to be #a million back, and that Seppi will be contained in the proper 10.

well i dont belive much is going to be diffrent other than a littel diffrent technolgy ill be out of high school in 09 so i dont think there will be much of a change and thats 3 years after that but i could be surprized theres alot that can happen
