It is not considered the World's Cop, now. That's the UN's job. The UN just sucks at it. I guess that makes the US the World's Vigilante.

I don't remember any defeats! You mention Vietnam and Iraq-but these were just Police Actions and the military won every engagement they were involved in--the only losers in both were the liberal politicians!!! I hope the liberal politicians aren't AGAIN responsible for the deaths of the civilians when they force the military to quit before the job is done. USMC 60-68

Its not considered the world cop outside of the USA. The USA has given itself the tag and responsibility, but not out of concern for the world but for its own purposes.
Most people outside the US don't want the US playing Bad cop.

But you forgot all the wars inbetween those... like the Gulf War, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Cold War Finale... I think those were pretty much victories.
And I agree, America is not the world's cop, it's the world's vigilante.

Neither of those was required.
Dulles caused the first problem (an also the Iran problem) but George and Dick get full credit for the second.

What defeats? We haven't lost one single war. We've been pulled out of wars too early (thanks to the liberals and media) but we've never lost any war. BTW, we won in Iraq, Saddam is dead no matter how many times you lie about it.

Until you retrieve your head out of your butt long enough to read history and know we haven't lost anything, we will always be at risk of losing the war with terror.

We are the top! what other country can you think of even comes close to the kinds power the U.S has?? Other countries should be scared to *** with us....they know we will get them back 10 times worse!!
