wasnt that unsportsman like to go to the hoop for a jam when you know you bout to win the game. that lil play by smush parker ( i think that was him who did it) was the dumbest thing to do. the lakers had a chance to possibly win the game on sunday going into the game with the edge but did you see D'Antoni's reaction. he wanted to kill Parker. hes going to come out on Sunday and make an example of the Lakers. im a lakers fan and i thought it was dumb for smush to do that. that shows he doesnt know how to win respectfully. just hold the ball and win the game thats all you have to do.

he wasn't going to score before the buzzer anyway, people score after the buzzer all the time

they should have given him freethrows for the hard foul, someone could have gotten hurt

also there isn't exactly good blood between the suns and lakers

Who cares? There's no rule against it, he's at home, they finally won a game in a series Charles and Kenny were saying may likely finish 4-0 Phoenix. Why not. He's pumped, it was a close game and emotions were running high. In the playoffs you have to play at such a high level that winning a playoff game is pure joy. He was happy.

Was it classless? Maybe...If he was intentionally trying to run up the score or embarrass Phoenix or pad his stats, none of which I believe he was trying to do, then it would've been. But the fact is, he was just glad the Lakers pulled one out and he wanted to finish with a dunk for the crowd. There's nothing unsportsmanlike about it.

I just hope the Lakers use that same energy and passion on Sunday, and even this series up.

Smush was just trying to add to his stats and make the scoreboard look better. He hasn't been in the league long enough to learn about class and sportsmanship. He should plan to be embarrassed by the Suns for the rest of the series. He might also want to get an extra insurance coverage...
