Some people said that it hurts really bad, then other people said it doesn't hurt that bad, only when it is getting pierced. A lot of people said that getting your cartilage pierced would hurt really bad. When I got both of mine pierced last year, it didn't hurt at all. What are the odds that my nose piercing won't hurt either?

It all depends on your tolerance for pain. If your cartillage didnt hurt, your nose wont hurt. I had both done also...actually i did my nose myself, and it didnt hurt at all. Just dont let it get infected cuz it looks nasty if it does. So make sure to clean the hole with alcohol...MAKE SURE you get the inside too...I used aQ-tip dipped in alcohol. Just get it done and keep it healthy and you will be happy with the results!

The only advice I can give to you is that pain differs from person to person. How well do you tolerate pain? I believe it does not hurt anymore then your ear. I have had weird places pierced trust me.. Belly button does not really hurt neither does my piercings below my belly button (if you know what I mean) But I had my nipples pierced and that hurt more then anything! Because the skin there is thick. so I wouldn't really worry too much. Just take deep breaths when you are there.

It does not hurt at all. It hurts after when the piercing begins to heal and the earing begins to get stuck because it gets crusty, that's when you have to keep turning the earing( hoop) and it is not that bad but can be a bit annoying. The possibility of infection is the worst so just be sure to keep the area clean and keep turning the earing so it will heal quickly.

It really depends on your pain tolerance level. different ppl handle pain differently. Personally my nose peircing did not hurt that much at all- it only made my eyes water like hell..i have my ears peirced 5 times and my nose done and also my belly button..
make sure you take good care of it after you get it done. wash it with 'soft soap' twice a day and make sure if you get a little stud (not the bull ring..) to spin the ring a couple times othewise it will heal around the ring and get stuck- which is painful!

I'm the kind of person who hates pain a lot but when I got my nose pierced I felt a little pinch and I kept my eyes shut tight waiting for the pain but the piercer told me that I can open my eyes if I want so I was like that's it?????????????? I was still waiting for the pain but I never felt it! so no it doesn't hurt. I don't have mine anymore.

no. I pierced my own nose over 4 years ago. It did not hurt at all. I have mine on my outer nostril though, if you are going for the septum, thats a totally different story.

My sides really didn't hurt, just a little pin prick. Actually tending it hurt more than the piercing.
Heard the septum (bull ring style) really really hurts.
