I'm very lucky in that I have really good neighbours and get on with them, and as such I want to be a good neighbour to them. I turn down any music at 11:00 pm and always greet them when I see them. Where I live, I know if I needed to I could ask my neighbours to help and they would and I'd reciprocate the favour if asked. LOVE is far better than hate.

I would rather forget they existed. In the past I have had a horrendous neighbour who stalked me for many years and loads of other stuff which stopped me selling my house. Then something tragic happened and he got carted away to a psychiatric place and I was able to sell my house and get as far away as possible before he came back.
I tried to forgive him, I tried to love him but every time I felt sympathy for him, despite the horrendous things he did, it somehow backfired on me and he took it as a weakness and got even worse towards me.
So loving and forgiving doesnt work, but then neither does hating.
So I prefer to know nothing about my neighbours and to neither love or hate them - they are there, but not to get involved or even friendly with. They are just neighbours.
My new neighbours accept this from me, they know my position on neighbours and they respect it.

Love but it isn't always easy, have had some really bad neighbours over the years but I would like to think I would try to love.

i tried to love my neighbour but then his wife attacked me...no, I'm joking, honest. my neighbour hates me because one of my roof tiles fell into her garden. okay so it hit her cat in the process, but that was not my fault.
on a more serious note, you should love thy neighbour, and not just the one next door.

I would rather Love them .. but in the same time depends on their behaviour .. Cos sometimes I find it very hard to love some people .. Hehe .. at the same time it depends to what kind of human I mean people they are .. Kind, Good, Helpfull, Irratating, Hot Tempered, etc ..

It's not a logical or reasonable question. You don't really expect there are people who PREFER to hate their neighbours, surely!

well if THY neighbor is from the age of 13-15 and if HE is real hot and a great kisser..

actual neighbours i hate mine they are druggies...i offered the twos ladies up for a punch on wen they mouthed off but they wouldnt step up to the plate...oh well but i would prefer to have ones that i could love...
