I have three suckermouth catfish (otocinclus). They have done a good job at controlling the algae in my tank, most of it is gone. The problem is they won't eat any of the food that I offer. I give them peas, salad leafs and sinking food tablets but they won't touch them. Any suggestions?

Plecos are nocturnal, so you should be putting the food in the tank in the evening before you turn out the lights - otherwise they won't be that interested and the other fish will eat them before the plecos get a chance.
They may not eat the fresh foods yet if they're something new. Keep offering them occasionally and once they figure these are food, they'll be eaten.

Try algae wafers or dried sheets of marine algae, found at fish stores.

Try hanging slices of cucumbers (remove the seeds) or zucchini inside the tank. If you hang them on the tank walls with veggie clips, the otos should love them.

Eventually they will eat the algae wafer. Whenever you see the wafer gone, add three more and they should eat them.

Go to a local pet store and and buy Algea Wafers. Feed at Night.

you can buy algie wafers at any pet store or local walmart even if they dont attach to it they will disolve in the tank and they willl asorb it

Your fish won't starve if you feed them twice a day.One when you wake up and one before you go to bed.

you should try tropical fish flakes-- they love them!!
