My lcd screen had quite a few cracks in it so I ordered a replacement on ebay (checked the part number and everything). After installing the new lcd screen, I tried to turn my laptop on but it just kept restarting itself every 5 seconds. The screen doesn't even light up or anything. I reconnected my old lcd screen and my laptop functioned normally. So what could be wrong with the new lcd?

model is hp zd7000 and the part number is 344894-001
