I pronounce it a poor choice for a name. Any name that's "trendy" or made-up can give a child problems the rest of his/her life. Let a child shine and stand out for what he accomplishes, not for the peculiarity of a name.

nah vay ah

ok, by they way, it is not irish, it is American... pulled this up for you... it is like I said, heaven spelled backwards, it's made up, and has no meaning! Hope this helps!

Gender: Girl

Meaning: N/A

Origin: American English

Categories: American

Pronunciation: (nuh vee ah) [ Guide ]

Form of: Nevaeh

Variants: N/A

Additional Info: Neveah is a modern creation and is a mispelling of Nevaeh which itself is simply the word heaven spelt backwards. Neveah has actually had some use in recent years. The pronounciation varies and is so up for debate.

Just checked it on google and apprarently its ne-VA-ah. I thought it was the irish name eefa which has some weird spelling completely different to the way it sounds.

I still think this is an irish name. Someone below says neeve which is more like what i was thinking. I am sure its irish. Maybe everyone is pronouncing it in a new way or some fashion way.

Please, don't give your child a name you can't pronounce. The child will have difficulty pronouncing it, teachers won't know what to make of it.
I'm all for unique names (ever heard of a white guy named Jerome? That's me.), but please be sensible. I mean, your kid's got to live with this name.
