Democrats will demand that we do what the cowards in Spain did after the Madrid bombings: implement a socialist government.

Clinton's response to a successful Al Qaeda attack was to launch cruise missles at empty Al Qaeda training bases in Afganistan.
The terrorist, however don't want muted responses to thier attacks. They want either concessions or they want responses that further enrage thier supporters against the US.
The current administration is giving them the latter, the next probably won't, but there's no gaurantee that it will give them the former, either. So I don't think they're waiting, I think they're doing thier best to launch attacks, and have yet to complete a successful plan. They'll continue to do so when the next andministration takes office, and, if the first successful attack on that new President's watch doesn't get a satisfactory response, the next attack will be worse, until she (or he) is goaded into granting concessions or retaliating in ways play to thier advantage in the muslim world.

If you go back and check, most democrats and media deny that Al Qaeda is in Iraq. In fact, they say that the only reason we attacked is to finish what his dad started that Saddam and Al Qaeda have no connections. They want us to pull out and then, you will see how long it takes to start suicide bombings in our towns and cities.

Al-Qaeda doesn't care who is in power. They know Americans will want a response, regardless of who is in power, and there are no politicians stupid enough to not respond.
So stop trying to blame the democrats for the "next terrorist attack".
Al-Qaeda was smart enough to trick your Republican guy into making enemies out of millions of Muslims without even trying...so I'd smarten up if I were you.

They might go after them instead of letting Bin Laden go free and invading a country where there weren't any Al Queda. They might also focus more resources on going after them instead spending billions invading the wrong country and bogging down our troops in a quagmire.
The idea that they would do nothing in response to an attack is absurd...and I doubt they would have done nothing when they got a memo stating "Bin Laden determined toattack in US" like Bush and Co.

Maybe do a few air strikes but certainly not get involved in fighting a war on terror. The democrats strategy is to leave terrorists alone and hope they start liking us.

Of course the Dems will fight back...that is what should have been done in the first place. no one faulted Bush for going after bin ladin... it is this idiotic mess in Iraq that people hate him for.
He should have finished one thing before he started another. God, anyone knows, if they listened to him speak that he can barely walk and chew gum.. never mind tyring to wage two wars.
No, i think bin Ladin will know better than to try this again.. because next time.. he will be found and killed.. and we will not be waylaid by a shiny oil well, like Bush was.

They will want to "sit down and talk" about it. Then he (or she) will probably begin giving them foreign aid because the reason they attacked us is "because they are uneducated and are disadvantaged".
Then they will get on CNN and say that we deserved to be attacked because as a superpower we have abused our status and power and should take this as a lesson and all hold hands and sing "kumbya" and then pick a same sex partner and get married and even then if we get pregnant, its ok because we can just puncture the baby's skull whe it is born if we decide that we dont want it.

Annihilate Al Qaeda; not go off on some tangent in another country that is wholly unrelated to the attack.
