i have a stop light that comes on intermittently on my peugeot 306 td no one seems to know the answer?

Have you checked the brake light switch located at the pedal? You may have a faulty switch that is shorting out or is worn out.

Take it to a foreign car repair shop. It could very easily be serious. That is what RED is for.
