I wouldn't if I were you. If you have to work, that means people are depending on you. They are counting on you to be there to do what you are supposed to be doing. If you aren't there, then it throws everything off. Even if you don't think your job is terribly important, if you weren't there, then someone has to be doing it when they could be doing their own job. I know that's probably not the answer you wanted, but people are counting on you. Don't let them down.
