Australia are the onlhy team who have not lost a single match in this world cup and have won allo the matches comprehensively. While Sri Lanka's success mainly depend upon the performance of Chaminda Vaaz and Muralitharan and their top order batsmen, Australia have more strength in their batting and bowling line up as compared to Sri Lanka. Considering all these aspects, I strongly feel that Australia will win the world cup unless they play too badly.

Hey Prasanth, long time eh...

Anyways, I think the Australians have played far better cricket than Sri Lanka. However, Sri Lanka has been pretty consistent through out the world cup. If Sri Lanka bats first and puts up a good total than I think they have a pretty good chance of winning. They are playing well and are equally balanced. Good luck to the Sri Lankans...Ish !!

australia. australia managed to get the whole sri lankan batting lineup in the super eight match. so u can expect a win in favor of the australians. though hold on- if sri lanka bats first then can win it because under pressure the australian wickets can fall. muralitharan with the doosra and vaas with his inswing will out do the australians. but if australia bat first srei lanka has to restrict them to a small total (which i highly dought sinec muralitharan has been scored more by the australian pair of Gilchrist and hayden. so yah its gonna be a tough match. bracken, tait and mcgrath are in form so sri lanka might find it hard. but remember the pitch they are palying on favors spin later on in the day cos the pitch carcks up a lot in the day.
but austra;ia can do it...

Look, if SL play as a team unit where all the players put their effort to win, they will definitely win, no matter who the opposite team is. Since Murali, Vaas & Malinga are back, they have the toughest bowling attack in Cricket World.
