We went to a "no chase" policy here after I retired and it cut way back on the number of chases.. They are incredibly exciting to be in, but there is such a risk to innocent people that it scares me to think about what could've happened during the pursuits I was involved in.
I really should've been killed in the last pursuit I was in on the motorcycle and I honestly don't know why God spared me.

Not where I live. I think L.A. is the "chase capital" of the USA.
There is a Fire House down the street and over a ways, so there are a lot of fast moving volunteers' cars speeding down my street on their way to the Fire House.

I live in a small town - the police don't bother chasing when they already know where you live and just meet you at your house

sometimes we have alot that cross the N.C to S.C. line all the time and from Wilmington to Brunswick so there are a few .I watch them sometimes but alot of them show the cops getting shot and it just starts to bother me after a while. I had a really good freind that her husband was killed in the line of duty.

no , but there are dog chases which i really feel so bad for these dogs ...I hate people who are cruel to animals ...
