yes. it sounds like you are recovering from a bad relationship. give yourself time. it is probably good to stay away from all men until they start to look more human again. when your faith in them is restored then you know you are ready to try again.

That is a perfectly normal human response. But if you expect to find your mate you have to get over it. Analyze what you are doing to attract that type of person. If you can pin point it, work on not doing that anymore. Solicit help for trusted friends and family if it is difficult for you to look at yourself objectively. Determine what your needs are and stick to them. Do not make unnessary concession just to be with someone. Drawing a line in the sand will let a potential mate know that on some issues you mean business and they should not try to change you. You also earn respect from people too.

Completely normal. After my ex and I separated, I hated all men. I compared them all to him and felt like I could never trust a man again. It took months before I even went out on a date, but it gradually got better and I realized just because he was a total looser didn't mean they all were!

Yes. What you have to look at are the people around you. There are people who are in good strong relationships so it is possible to find a good man. You just have to keep your eyes open

What is a good man? ALL men have their faults. The A**holes that pride themselves in hurting woman and living off them just make us open our eyes to what men (and women) are capable of. It is scary to think people can treat us this way. But they do. Its not just us....they do it to everyone. There are good people out there. Unfortunately people that have been hurt are more cautious and we tend to smell through the bull***t. You are cautious because you know what to look for. Keep looking they are there. BUT TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS! You don't want to repeat your past mistakes.
