I often thought about this question myself. If God created the universe and everything in it, then he can't possibly be a human being. Then I thought, what would a being look like from another planet? Would that being look like us? Was God actually the first human being (and supreme being) to inhabit this planet?

If God made man in his OWN image, then he must have looked humanoid. Is that a fact? I don't know. But that's what it means to me if he created man in 'his own image.' I'm happy to believe. In times of trouble and sorry, when we feel there is no one else around, who do 'most' of us call on? Oh, God! We say.

Think about it for a bit. I think it makes perfect sense.

Bless you ....

Ubergod maybe?

Or maybe "God" just IS; a sentient expression of the Universe; part of the ALL of life and therefore above time; was never created but has just always been.

It was either Voltaire or Descartes who wrote hundreds of years ago that if God did not exist, it would be necessary for man to create Him.

It says in the bible that God was, God is, and always will be; the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

*Nobody knows.*

-That's life's biggest mystery, is where life started and how.-

*Yeah sure god may have created us.....BUT.

-If he created us then someone had to create him.
-And whoever created him was created by someone

-And so on and so forth...it's like a never ending cycle, because everyone and everything had to come from someone or somewhere....and it just keeps going and going back, so we will never know.

.....that's all.

God always was and always will be. Of course this is if you believe in God. I do and I believe this. Others think that we are imagining God; which is their right of course.
