i jus got done doin treatment for a yeast infection like two weeks ago and right after i got my period........but my discharge is yellowish.......why?

i could be the medicine or your body naturally trying to help get rid of the yeast infection...if it has a really bad odor or you are still itchy sounds like you still haven't treated it yet... i would speak to your doc and ask if the treatment is right for you..sometimes you can be allergic to the medicine and it does more harm than good

It is just the residual of the medication - don't worry as long as you completed the course you should be fine. Also to reduce repeat infection drink plenty of water, cranberry juice and add Yogurt to your diet to increase your ability to fight infection naturally. Also wear jeans that fit a little loose and cotton undergarments when possible since nylon,silk and lace trap moisture to your skin and can actually increase your possibility of infection. Good Luck!

Causing the discharge to be yellowish color has many possibilities.. Maybe you should have a checkup with the doctor, the diagnosis from the doctor is more reliable..
