It is very unlikely. It would be seen as very disrespectful to his current club CR Vasco da Gama, which was also his first professional club, and for whom he has already won lots of titles, and scored many goals. Plus, the club has turned his project into their main project and everything else is sort of secondary.
To leave now, 1 goal short, and score the goal 1000 for a Mexican team, that has a fraction of the tradition of Vasco da Gama, would be very stupid and unlike Romario.
He enjoys the spot light. The only other club I think he would consider transferring to in order to score the 1000th goal would be FC Barcelona. But that is hardly an option.
He will score the goal 1000 in the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro wearing the Vasco da Gama jersey. Where he goes after that??? God only knows.

No Romario is going to stay with Vasco Da Gama after he completes his 1,000 goal and then retire he is done for.

No, he'll stay with Vasco until he retires, which I guess it would be soon. Vasco is his favorite team, so thats why he won't leave.
