They miss spelled the word dracula either deliberate or not.?

Question

Coming from foriegn countries perhaps some one trying to tell their story of a real monster. Dracula the person was trying to say TARANTULA that has fangs and most often has a greaser hair cut that weaves a human disguise to conceall its self and it dose have fangs it dose stalk humans and kills. some run away dog press started calling it Dracula or maybe its the name of a spider in another country that is in the U.S because I have killed many.

Actually, the name Dracula comes rom the latin draco for dragon and the diminutive suffix ula for "son of". Vlad the Imapler's father was a member of the Order of the Dragon (thus the "drac") so he was nicknamed "Son of the Dragon". Nice try though.

Dracula was based on the Wallachian Voivode Vlad Tepes, also known as The Impaler, c.1390 to1447. Dracul (the dragon) was his family's crest. When Bram Stoker wrote the book, 'Dracula' in the late 19th century, he created the vampire Count Dracula who lived in Erdély (Transylvania) after hearing vampire stories in this region of the Kingdom of Hungary.

Actually, Dracula was based very lightly (partly) on Vlad Tepes, also called Vlad Dracula. Dracul means 'dragon' and Dracula is 'son of the Dragon'. He was a real guy (Romanian royalty, actually) and he was quite vicious. You can read more about him here http://www.donlinke.com/drakula/vlad.htm . He's one of my favorite historical people just because it was so gruesome. I love my horror flicks and novels. If they are based on reality, it makes it that much scarier!
