Hi Can i keep Like a rainbow shark in a 10 gallon tank with some other fish as long as i only put maybe 1 shark in tank? Or can i have a couple sharks?

No. A rainbow shark will quite quickly outgrow a 10 gallon tank.

Not when it is full grown. Rainbows grow to about 6 inches long and are very active. He won't be happy in a ten gallon at that point. You'll want at least a 50 gallon tank to keep this fish happy for the rest of its life.
Also, I must comment that fish DO outgrow their tanks! Sure a fish kept in a tank that is woefully small will be stunted to some extent, and the stress of being overcrowded may kill it before it reaches its full size, but fish can and do outgrow their aquariums. Ask any zoo or pet store and they will tell you how many people try to trade in or donate fish that have gotten too big for the owner's tank!

No. Think about it. A 10 gallon is 10" front to back. This fish easily grows to 6". That leaves 4" of swimming room when he turns around from his14" swim left and right! That's just silly. I wouldn't even put a Danio in a 10 because the need room to swim...

Rainbow Shark, yes, but he won't be very happy. They grow to 6 inches, and wouldn't have that much room to swim.
Be careful, many freshwater sharks exceed 1 foot!

It depends on how big it is... they come in a variety of sizes, if it's 1-3 inches, its OK, but if its bigger watch it.
Fish will never outgrow a tank! a 1/2 inch fish in a one gallon tank will grow to one inch, but in a 5 gallon tank, it may grow to 3 inches.
