well, i always said that if i have a girl (which i'm not, i'm having a son) i would use family names. so my little girl would have been named Marta after my abuela (grandma) with her middle name as Ivette after my mom. the woman who i cherish most in my life and who i could only hope my daughter would cherish, respect and embody as well. i say you choose a name that has a lot of sentimental value to you yet also would allow you to look at your little girl as an individual good luck.
