Mitt Romney on bringing Osama bin Laden, responsible for thousands of American deaths, to justice, Associated Press: "It's not worth moving heaven and earth spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person."

well, his point that catching Bin Laden will not solve the problem is important. The real problem is Islamic extremists, and as he said, even if we catch Bin Laden, someone will step up in his place. We need to get to the core or foundation of the problem, not chip away from the top down, which is what catching Bin Laden is. Of course, I do think it would be a moral booster for some, and justification by others, but would be overlooking the real problem if we lost focus and wasted all our resources on one man.

If he meant something else, then I would have to restate my thoughts.

If we leave the search be for ahwile, Osama may decide it's safe to appear...then GOTCHA! Mitt Romney is an excellent politician.

ummm I believe the quote was that catching Osama would not benefit the USA's safety greatly.
Unless you have a better link I think your vastly misquoting.

Well if thats what he said.. ( regarding your added quote ) then i disagree with him. on a morale basis I think it would accomplish alot.
