I worked in the service department of a large So Cal honda dealer for four years and know the Pilot from the day it was introduced in the U.S. It is flawless. There has never been a product problem on the vehicle.

The Pilot is over-engineered; for example, the brake pads and tires last twice as long as any other Honda model. the Pilot in my opinion truley is "best in class".

the fuel economy numbers are pretty close to reality; I've never heard a Pilot customer complain of poor fuel economy and that's in L.A. where its all stop and go driving and fuel at $3.30 per gallon. As you can guess, I'm a big fan of the Pilot.

Great choice with your car man! =D

Pros:
3rd row seating
standard stability and traction control
standard rollover sensor
standard SIX air bags
GREAT fit-n-finish
Quality name (HONDA =])
GREAT gas mileage
nice styling

Cons:
Base model has lots of plasticly looking stuff

OVERALL: A great vehicle for towing a boat, driving a family, mild off-roading, and runaroud-town needs.

Hope i helped! =]
