Right or wrong, it's between him and his daughter, and has nothing whatsoever to do with the rest of America.

All I see is a father who has anger management issues, but who seems to care about staying in touch with his daughter.

There are dads all over the place that call their children worse things all the time or even beat them up. Yet we fixate on some actor's bad choice of words in the heat of a moment?

Contemplate.

I always thought Baldwin was type-cast as the bumbling arch-villains who thought they were above it all. As an actor he was always something of a hack, why was he dropped from the Clancy franchise after Red October and replaced with Harrison Ford? Shooting was adapted to Fords schedule, so Baldwin was available. Bottom line is I think Alec Baldwin is a troubled man and maybe a dangerous parent, whose P.R. people are trying to spin him out of it. What you heard on the phone was a call to a child and that was NO ACTOR.

Cute photo, but no, he was not correct in calling her any name.

A mature, albeit, perturbed, normal parent would have conveyed their annoyance at the child not being available/picking up the phone for a planned telephone visit, and in this order:

- Conveyed importance or being on time for appointments as it is important for the child to learn to be responsible. When you make a commitment, you need to stick to it.

- Conveyed sadnss as them not being there as they really wanted to talk to the child to find out what is going on in their life.
- Conveyed concern that something might be wrong and want them to call back as soon as they get the message to be sure the are ok.
- Conveyed their love for their child and apologized for possibly being a bit terse in the prior statements, but it is only because you care about them, love them, want what is best for them and miss them.

To call an 11 year old a rude, selfish little pig, and then try to back-peddle when it was made public saying he meant that about he ex-wife and blast her for breaking a gag order just showed the world that that a rude, selfish little pig he is.

The only person Alec Baldwin would be correct in calling a pig is himself.

I think he was out of line and has hostility towards his ex that he is projecting onto his daughter, who no doubt spends more time with Kim than him.
