we sublet the bay attached to a 76 as one of our smog shops,the owner doesent pay for gas and hooks us up somtimes,the profit margin is more than pennies!

Most gas stations only make a few pennies of profit per gallon that they sell. Most stations make the majority of their money from the convience stores that they run next to the gas stations.

my friend owns a station and the prophet is 4 cents ..wow big discount...family and friends pay full price..

Do you fairly imagine gasoline station vendors make that a lot money? Their earnings are merely about totally non-gasoline products. What you pay is a few cents better than their wholesale cost. Now once you purchase that $a million.fifty 9 bottle of soda pop... it really is the position the money is. they are all small employer vendors, so i love helping them make money too.

They probably get it for free. I don't think they give discounts they only make a penny or two per gallon.
