Let me take a stab at this. The teacher doesn't teach English, right?
First, what is age difference? In some states, such a relationship, even if consensual, is statutory rape.
Second, get counseling. Such an infatuation will only lead to trouble for you both!

1st-- A man should be 5-10 yrs older--unless you are under 17.
2nd- You better move to another school district so there is no
conflict of interest.
3rd- Check the laws in your state.
4th- You should be both in love with each other.
5th- The same as the 4th--it is the most important of all.
History--in the old days the 40s-70s girls didnot finish high
school and the parents wanted their daughters to
marry someone 5-10yrs older so the boy or man
could support their daughter. That doesnot hold
true today, because women tend to have a higer
education then boys. It was nothing for a 14 or 15
year old girl to marry a boy 20-24 yrs old. Now
marriages donot last so you better be well educated
so you can support yourself after the break-up. My
wife and I only had boys--so, I hope my fatherly
advice has help.

It is an issue of power inequity, the teacher has power over you by the nature of the teachers position. Same reason people shouldn't have sex with their boss. Someone always clearly has more controll over the other person. While this might be the appeal of this type of relationship in the early stages, it has the potential to be very dangerous as the relationship progresses. I will assume you are over 18, but if not it could also be a legal issue.

Because it's wrong, immoral, and illegeal.
But I know what you're talking about. I had a teacher like that too. I didn't want to have sex, I just wanted to make out with him, like real bad.

you shouldn't have sex with your teacher because he is the teacher and you are the student and it is wrong. He could loose his job. I don't know how old you are but if people find out he could go to jail.

Teacher or professor? It is a conflict of interest either way, but the law may dictate the answer.
Just wait until you are out of his class (and possibly out of HS)!

if your under 18, teacher gets busted. If you get caught, teacher gets busted. If he goes through with it, ,,, teacher gets busted. Not to mention anyone in the "position of power" who has sex with a student... is going to get busted.

In the eyes of the law (and morally to) its wrong. He is abusing his position of authority. It could get him in a hella lot of trouble. if you really like him then wait until you have finished school
