No doubt about it! At least while we are still grounded in common sense and maintain our integrity. So sad that our government and the clowns that run things are so out of touch with us. It's like they are from another planet and only while campaigning do they try to pretend to understand us 'foreigners'. that pay their salaries, suck up to them, and put up with their stupid antics while negelecting vital concerns.

They are not all like this; some have been immuned to their disease, some have not been exposed long enough and some truly are good people. However, liberals would rather believe lies than look at facts and realize what is really the best government for them.

Alert, alert, they have forgotten they work for us.

This is interesting, because I once knew a local politician who proposed that instead of electing our representatives they should be chosen by random selection, the way we choose jurors. The jury system has worked reasonably well for a long time.

It couldn't get much worse. The problem is that, while random American citizens wouldn't have the cynical partisan agendas of seasoned politicians, they also wouldn't have thier experience at governing, nor the expertise of thier 'people' to draw on when understanding issues, crafting legislation, and so forth.

Domestically, yes
foreign policy, no

This is why I think we should return power to the states and let the federal government focus on foreign policy.
