I read a question on here from a woman who was upset that she hadn't had sex with her husband for two weeks and I laughed out loud.
Could most of you - like me - do two weeks standing on your head? And what's the longest you've ever gone without making love to your wife? Why?

I went nearly a year once due to problems during and just after her pregnancy.

I'm 35 and have the same sex drive I had when I was young, I could make love to my wife 3-4 times a day and I'll bet more if I was motivated properly ; )
But her sex drive has slowed down a LOT since we got married over the years so we tend to get together more on her schedule than mine, which can be up to 6 weeks at a time. It's certainly one of the bigger contention points in our marriage, she says we're not "kids" anymore and there is something wrong with me for still wanting sex all the time.
Who knows, maybe there is and everyone at our age should be content with it every blue moon...

2 weeks? I'm with you pal that's child's play.
Imagine a woman 5'2", about 104 pounds, dark hair, great dark brown eyes, nice rack, curvy little waist, super a*ss, killer legs, great smile, good dancer, sense of humor, size '2' for what that's worth, having "self-image" problems.
I say okay I'll work with you - no, you compliment me and all that it's not you it's me she says.
Counselors, physicians, drugs, diet changes, and over 12 years later - no sex that whole time. I'd day 12 years and 4 months. 12 X 52 = 624 weeks plus 4 more months = 16 weeks, so 640 weeks. What are those 5 stages of dealing with trauma - denial, anger, bargaining, something, acceptance? You go through it all.
2 weeks is 0.3% of that time. I mean I could do 2 weeks and still have 99.7% of the time left to do.
What a bunch of lightweights. ;-D

Well. Like most everyone I enjoy it as much as the next guy. However I've done without for a month or two after the wife had some surgery done.
It didn't cause me any problems. It sure wasn't the end of the world either.

We go over a week between, sometimes. I don't really have much of a sex drive these days.

Months after our kid was born. We really only do it once a month now. Frustrating, yes but nothing I'm going to loose sleep over.

I Can does not equal " I want to" or "I have to" thank god.
Couple of weeks during business travel is it.

i could go a month, its not that I don;t want to it its just woth our work schedule and illness its hard soemtimes to find time to connect
