Republicans.

Democrats look like they want to appease the terrorists.

Neither. Both parties are compromising security by not defending the borders and out of control spending (our economic security is more vulnerable than our military).

However, at the moment I'd say the Dems are probably better just because Clinton didn't sabotage so much of the country the way Bush has. However, I'm also confident that the next Dem could be just as bad. They're all a bunch of lying, greedy crooks.

the Republicans have always led the way in national security, modern equipment, troop strength and a forward defense.
The democrates are more isolationists, think oceans will protect us,hate spending money on the military and every draw down of strength has been under the dems.
Clinton cut our forces 25% to balance the budget and claim a surplus (on paper only )(wish I could do that with MY checkbook )
The dems try to keep the peace or fight on the cheap, which is not always possible.

One of the reason's that the democrats hate Bush is that they think that he should abandon national security for domestic welfare.
Its in the newspapers every day.

Democrats.

They actually want to inspect the cargo conatiners coming into our nation, Imagine that! Americans instead of Arabs in charge of port security! They have passed legislation to implement the suggestions made by the 9/11 commission. They want to get us out of Iraq, which is causing more problems than it is solving.

Reeeeeeeeepublican!!!

If you keep the terrorists fighting for their lives on their home soil and freeze their foreign accounts, they cannot come here and learn to fly airplanes into our skyscrapers, or bomb our trains and buses.

Neither party, actually. The military takes commands from public officials, or, we would be a dictatorship run by the military.
