My hubby is on here, I don't know anyone else though.
However, I have met people IRL that I've met on here. For the most part they've been really great people. But there are a few that turned out to be freaks! LOL

I was being treated badly at a place of business and was ranting about how many e-mail accounts I had and the parent company was going to get bombarded by all of them. A lady standing next to me mentioned answers and we exchanged screen names. I also have a ton [15-20] real life relatives on here.

I haven't met anyone through Yahoo! Answers or through the internet before. There is nothing wrong with meeting others through the internet, however it is much more possible that you would spend more time with people you run into each day.

No I haven't. Not yet anyway. Most people don't want to admit they come here. When I tell a friend an answer to something and tell them I got it on Y/A, they look at me weird.

Only today I guessed one. I don't know him in real life, but he is on a Forum.
We are all in "real life" and "real" ; just may be incognito.
But I know you speak of those you know not if they are Robot or Male / female .
