FIrst off you HAVE TO see your doctor right away. If you have not ben eating correctly for the past 2.5 weeks then you are right your baby IS suffering. You are in the PEAK of development and you MUST have nourishment. Call and make an emergency appointment with your OB. One of the tricks to taking your prenatal vitamins if they make your stomach hurt is to take them right before bed. That way you are sleeping and it will be absorbed. Again I am a nursing student and I am telling you it is critical that you get ahold of your doctor so he can find a treatment. If you don't do it for you.... DO IT FOR THE BABY

I've had a similar problem off and on, and have started drinking Ensure (or a store-brand nutritional supplement drink, if it's cheaper). It's designed for people who are having a tough time eating, and seems to digest pretty well. I can keep it down about 90% of the time, which is a very good percentage for me right now.
Since the prenatal vitamins aren't working out right now, try a regular vitamin for women in combination with a nutritional supplement.
I strongly recommend that you go see a doctor even though your insurance hasn't kicked in yet. Most doctors will set up payment plans with pregnant patients. It's best that you get medical attention sooner, rather than later.

Just go to the hospital and tell them your situation. Let them give you the advice. They will help so start there. I mean if you were going into labor now a hospital will treat you. They won't refuse because you don't have insurance yet. As far as you not eating you should try to drink some Ensure. It's a little pricey but will give nutrition to your baby. Are you drinking enough water? If your well hydrated it could help. Also try eating smaller things little by little and gradually increase that way your stomach can recover from whatever the problem is.

You should be fine and so should the baby. Morning sickness, or all day sickness, is common and so is the weight loss. In about 2 weeks, you should start to feel better, so eat healthy then and take the prenatal vitamins. You'll be just fine and so will your baby. Hang in there. Try some dry toast or saltines and gingerale or gatorade to give you a little boost.

You will be fine and so will the baby. I was so sick around that time that I couldn't hardly anything but dry bread. I actually lost weight and you know its really common. Your baby is getting everything he/she needs from you. If your aren't eating enough you're the only one who wont be getting nourishment. Try eating crackers or bread and drink pleny of fluids. Try not to drink orange juice or eat anything that might upset your stomach worse. Just remember..."this too shall pass"

I lost about 5 pounds from morning sickness also.Sour foods seemed to help me a bit.Try lime flavored popsicles or sour fruits or candies.Ricola cough drops also helped(the plain herbal kind). You really should try to get your prenatal vitamins down, and try to get to a doctor a.s.a.p.Find out what kind of programs are available in your area to help pregnant women.Planned Parenthood or W.I.C. may be able to give you information about that.Good luck.

I'm 19 &pregnant with my first as well. I'm much farther along then you..due in 14 days! To answer your question, it's normal to feel this way! I've had a lot of thoughts of miscarriage. But to stay on the safe side &to ease your mind I would consider going to your doctor. They will check since you are worried about it. I was checked 5 times..they must of thought I was soo paranoid! But it is your baby and you don't want any harm to happen to it. The symptoms of feeling sick &certain foods that made me gag pasted within 3 months of me being pregnant. Most symptoms will stick with you, some will pass within time! But, yes I would consider going &seeing your doctor &let them know you are worried and that you don't feel pregnant as you use to feel. Your doctor should talk to you &tell you this is normal to feel this way! -Congrats &best of wishes to you &your lil' one!! =)

first thing is first. you need to go to the local health department. or contact social services. they can get you some insurance. also they can give you a prescription for morning sickness. you are fine it is normal. but if you lose 10% of your body weight then it is a concern. some tips. ginger. ginger tea. raw ginger. they also say b6 but it didn't work for me. also you may try to eat very small amounts every hour and be careful not to become dehydrated. it's just part of motherhood congratulations

First check with your doctor to make sure everything is okay. I ate popsicles, ice shakes with lots of ice and flavoring, when I felt sick and I could not eat anything. I also ate a lot of fruit, I think my body was craving sugar, maybe your body is craving something also you just need to listen to your body and eat it.
