I did, I have been on a lot of prescribed anti depressants and they all increased my appetite, until I was given efexor which had the opposite effect and I lost all the weight I had gained.
Having said that I know several people currently taking efexor and it's caused them significant weight gain

Depends on the antidepressant. Lots of them do actually have increased appetite and/or weight gain associated with the antidepressants. Another reason might be because you were too depressed to think about eating, but now you're feeling better and you can enjoy eating again.

Yes, with some, increased appetite and weight gain are side effects. One of the most notorious is Remeron.
