It hurts mainly in the mornings, I have taken Motrin which seems to work, and when i do cardio at the gym its fine the rest of the day. Its between my shoulder blade and my spinal cord. Feels like a huge knot. Any idea what I can do to make it better? I have even tried taking Viox at night to make it better.

800 milligrams (4@200mg'd) kills most all pain. I usedf this instead of narcs when I had reconstructive knee surgery-it save my life and my mind cuz I had to work w/i a week after surgery and need all my faculties. Its an antiflamitory at the 800mg level.

I know your pain. I pulled a muscle at football practice one and it drove me crazy. What helped me the most was using icy hot and keeping the muscle warm with a heating pad. Also taking anti-inflammatory medications help to. It my take you a couple of weeks to get over your pulled muscle and remember once you've pulled it it can easily re-injure. Hope this helps. Anything pulled needs to be rested so stop the gym work first. Then try heat pad, or cold pad and treat yourself to a massage. Once you feel repaired return to the gym.
