i am working ,bank,in the contract what i have signed it was stipulated to work48 hrs a week, but also it depends of company,s needs

Working "bank" means that you only work when your employer actually needs you, up to a maximum of 48 hours per week. It may be that some weeks there will be no work for you at all.
