Have you ever heard of such a thing. Or do you know what it is? I've never heard of a phone number having a "+" in it, or being that long. Or to get called on the 8th minute, 3 times in two days. It probably would have called again at 9:08 am this morning if my phone hadn't been off.

+233 is the Ghanaian country code. Someone from that West African country is trying to reach you. Do you have relations, friends or business there? It is really nothing to get spooked about.

Wow, that's weird!! As someone else mentioned the +23 is a country calling code and it's like the area codes that we have in the United States. I just did a search for the calling code +23 on the internet and ,I'm sorry to say, I could not find anything about it. I think your best bet would be to call your telephone company and see if they can give you any information about this number that's been calling you. Maybe the +23 calling code is a new one that hasn't been added to the websites that I was looking at yet. Or it's also possible that it's a special code or something.

I hope you get this figured out soon. Best of luck!!

The + sign mean (+ country code). For the united states you have +1 ex: 1-555-555-5555, on cell phones it comes up +1-555-555-5555 though, just how they are programned. so the country code on that number is +23. You can look in your phone book to find out what country it is.

And the reason it probably calls at the 8th minute everytime is because its on an automated system that commands it to call at certain times.

That # looks really strange, but sometimes weird numbers come up if someone is using a calling card or something...have you answered it? I think I would just to see what it is. You could also contact the phone company and see if they can explain the strange # sequence.

Call your phone company and ask them. Maybe they can shed some light on this.
I've called mine about odd text messages I was receiving, and they were able to tell me something about it, and I figured out it was my daughter.....
