I am six weeks and am right with you. If I find anything that helps I will let you know. I have found saltines work the best, but still it doesn't go away. Good luck.

Absolutely! For the I'm 9 weeks pregnant and have spent the last four weeks feeling like I've got the worst New Year's Day hangover ever. The only difference from what you're saying is that I puke all the time. Bleh.
The doctor tried two different kinds of antihistamines on my nausea and then wrote a prescription for Zofran - which helps if I can keep it down. You might want to ask your doctor about anti-nausea medications. I tried *all* the home remedies (ginger, ginger ale, Sea Bands, flat 7-Up, saltines, Ritz crackers, eating only bananas, rice, applesauce and toast) and nothing worked.
Lots of people have told me this gets better after the first trimester, and I'm sincerely hoping they're right. Best wishes to you - I hope you feel better very soon.

Hang in there hun, it really will get better. Most women feel relief from their nasty sickness after the first couple months. With both pregnancies I felt better right at week 12. I swear I woke up and was like, wow I'm actually hungry and don't feel like puking. Of course now that I'm almost 37 weeks, I'm miserable because I'm ready for the baby to come out! But it still feels better than the beginning. Just try (and it's hard sometimes) to always have something in your tummy. If I kept snacking alot, even just crackers and cheese, I would feel so much better. Also, drinking a little coke made my tummy settle better than 7-up. Try a few different things and something may work for you. Good luck, and congrats!!

I was like that with my first pregnancy...here is a few tips that might help...it worked for me.
Sip Ginger Ale and eat saltine crackers. That will help. That is how I survived through the first 3 months or so. It will hopefully pass soon.
You can also ask the doctor for a suggestion for what you can take, either OTC or through a prescription. I was so bad they had to give me suppositories b/c I couldn't hold anything down.
Try the tips I suggested and talk to you doctor. Try to keep your eye on the prize =) Hang in there...good luck & congrats.
*thats funny...I was reading the other tips and my first pregnancy was a girl too...my boys I had one day of feeling sick.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I was sick for the first 3 months. Trust me that it will pass. I know it doesn't feel that way now, but it will. Not much you can do about the smells except for finding the things that don't make you sick. . .candles that smell good to you etc. Use those things to make it easier to get thru. If you have the time, sleep when you feel tired. Your body knows what it needs, so if that happens to be sleep, go for it. It may ease the "hangover" feeling.

The first few months feel like the day before your period. Bloated, heavy etc. The best way to deal with the sickness is to just eat small amounts all day - don't let you stomache get empty - that's when you'll feel the most sick.
Try to get lots of sleep! You'll feel better in about a year or so :)

Yep, I was that way through my 15th week, and still in small waves every now and again (at 24th week now).
It takes a lot of trial and error to see what makes your stomach calmer and what makes it worse - what ended up helping a ton for me were pedialyte pops and carnation instant breakfasts, even sucking on a peice of ice helps me a lot now.
hang in there.
