Maybe you don't know a famous person, but maybe you know someone that does. Or maybe your parents went to school with someone who is now famous. I thought it would be interesting to see who may be liked directly or indirectly to famous people of all types...here are mine (ok, they aren't great, but it's what I have got) P.S. Don't lie!

My grandmother went to school with Dr. Kevorkian, she said he was very quiet and weird. Go figure.

My great grandfather invented the neon light.

My grandfather played in the Stan Kenton band, which some of you may know as the band that played the music on the movie "West Side Story".

My grandmothers was friends with the guy who did Martha Stewarts flowers ( believe it or not, Martha did not do her own flowers all the time, and I was told she isn't the nicest person)

A couple of my friends know David Blaine and David Copperfield. One of them is also working with Tom Cruise on a movie about magic.

Now tell me yours!

Some very interesting answers on here. Thank you for posting these answers! I thought of something else, it could be something as small as this:

My mother used to serve Andre the Giant coffee at a restaraunt in NC.

I think it's just fun to see howpeople have had family or friends be linked to someone in the most random and seemingly insignificant ways.

I am related to the infamous Dalton Gang and to Judge Roy Bean.

"After the Adair robbery the Gang split up and went their own ways. With the law on their trail, the Dalton boys figured to make one last robbery and get enough money to leave the country. A plan was devised to rob two banks in the same town at the same time, thus getting enough money to leave the country, and also go down in history by accomplishing something that no other outlaw gang had ever attempted. The perfect town for the robbery was Coffeyville, KS, the Dalton boys old home town."

"Of the many colorful characters who have become legends of the Old West. "Hanging Judge Roy Bean," who held court sessions in his saloon along the Rio Grande River in a desolate stretch of the Chihuahuan Desert of West Texas, remains one of the more fascinating.

According to the myth, Roy Bean named his saloon and town after the love of his life, Lily Langtry, a British actress he'd never met. Calling himself the "Law West of the Pecos," he is reputed to have kept a pet bear in his courtroom and sentenced dozens to the gallows, saying "Hang 'em first, try 'em later." Like most such legends, separating fact from fiction is not always so easy."

Try to get a shot of one of those SUVs or vans with a bumper sticker that says, "My Child is an Honor Student". These asinine stickers have always driven me half crazy. I have always felt that any parent that puts something like this on their car are more interested in social status and bragging rather than being truly concerned about their child. So what happens if their child is no longer an "honor student"? I have always imagined the kid having to go out on a cold, winter night and scrape off the bumper sticker. I would not be surprised by it. steve

My 5th cousin is Ingrid Bergman, but it is so distant so I wouldn't really say we're related it stops at 4th generation I think.

our distant cousin invented the Hiller Helicopter, but again we don't even know if their is any relation; stories that past down you know

my great grandma was good friends with Ronald Reagan.

My cousin is friends with Peter Segal's nephew, and he walked in his house.

My cousin met Kevin Costner, the judges of American Idol and Good Charlotte while working at Starbucks in L.A.

My uncle went to High school with Will Ferrell

Supposedly my great uncle like generations down ate dinner with George Washington during the Revolutionary war. He was co general or something. Again stories that are passed down.

that is all...

Well, one of my aunts used to babysit Trisha Yearwood.

Also, my mother used to hang out in bars where the Allman Brothers and Eric Clapton would also hang out when she was younger. She said one night Greg Allman and Eric Clapton came in and were drunk and stoned out of their minds! She said they got on stage and tried to play guitar and sing but it sounded horrible!

Yes I am, I won't name names because I've opened that can of worms before and it was nothing but trouble. Maybe you can guess if you see the resemblance.
