This is normal. I don't know how old you are or how long you have been menstruating, or if this is the first. But here is what I know.
Menstruation is the shedding of the uterine lining through the vagina as a bloody discharge. It is actually composed of cervical mucous, vaginal secretions, and tissue from the uterine lining. Here are a few general points regarding the range of experience that women have with their periods:
Most women lose only about 4 to 6 tablespoons of menstrual fluid each month.
Periods can be light, moderate, or heavy.
It’s perfectly normal to have a period that lasts anywhere from 3 to 7 days.
A woman’s first period is known as menarche, and normally occurs between the ages of 10 and 17.
From menarche, a woman gets her period roughly each month until she reaches menopause, which generally occurs in the late 40s or early 50's
Most women do not need to change their daily activities or exercise routines when they have their periods.
Throughout a woman’s lifetime, her menstrual cycle and her period can change due to changes in hormone levels as she ages
Maybe talk to your mom if you still don't know what is up. You may want to see a doc if this continues or if you are experienceing, more than normal cramps, Pian
