Ok, liberals, time to vent......but this time only use factual statements and not what you BELIEVE.
Personally, I believe his biggest failure was when the Republicans held the White House and BOTH houses of Congress, he didn't ram conservative legislation down the throats of Liberals. Instead, he wanted to show nonpartisanship and play nicey nice with the backstabbers that didn't get voted out. Lesson learned, I hope, for future conservative leaders that you cannot work with the left, you must crush them.

Truthspeaker10....He and Congress (that means Hillary, John, and Chucky) all got the same information at the same time from the CIA....so stop with "lying" BS.

GWB like all of us is human (regardless of what I read above). He has strengths, weaknesses, goals, aspirations, wishes and desires like all men. His greatest failure (not problem or why I don’t like him) is that he surrounds himself with people he likes. We all do that to some extent but diversity is a good thing in advisors. I personally believe with different advisors in the beginning of his presidency things could or would have been different as to quite a few issues.
Cassandra – spend some more time on what your kids are studying in homeschool and less time on the computer on YA and both you and they will probably benefit.

That he hasn't focused more on information to the muslim world, to help them realize that islamists are their own worst enemy, and that compromising political islam is the best hope for a non-violent future that those people have.
Sending videos is not going to cut it. He should have started talking with (as in "let me TELL you something...") influential imams and schaolars from day 1 (i.e., 9/12). Even if it didn't work, it would provide a tremendous source of reference as to islam's true intentions and refute the lie that islam has been "hijacked" by terrorists.

Wow, there are so many abject failures that have come from this Administration it is difficult to select one that stands out as the greatest. I suppose the greatest failure is the Iraq war. The war was started because of lies and was against someone who was no danger to us instead of going after Bin Laden and AlQaeda with everything we had.
On 9/11 I had sympathy and support for the President. Handled properly that could have been the beginning of a truly great presidency. Unfortunately all my trust and support have erroded away as more and more lies and corruption are uncovered and as I learn of more laws like the Patriot Act that can endanger my freedoms.
Whoever the next president is may not be great but they may seem greater than they are because of the contrast they will be to Bush and the mess that they will, hopefully, be successful in cleaning up. On January 12, 2001, 80 percent of Americans supported the President. Today that support has dropped to 27% and continues to fall. It will be interesting to see how much lower it will go between now and January 20, 2009.

He did not use the force needed in Afghanistan. To this day buildings stand in Kabul and other Afghan cities, Afghans still live in that country, the air is breathable, the water drinkable, and it doesn't glow in the dark. I thought he was serious in the war on terror but so far he has been a disappointment

I'm not a liberal. Call me ANYTHING but a left wing 0 negative radical. His greatest failure was not getting the Rangers baseball team to the world series.

gee, there are so many to chose from. Let me start with some of my favorites.
He weakened our military to the point of breaking
He cut anti-terrorism funding in half (after Clinton tripled it).
He blew a wonderful chance to promote democracy and peace in the Mid-East by not staying focused on Afghanistan. (Taliban now occupies 1/3 of the country, or haven't you heard).
Iraq invasion radicalized the mid-east to the point where terrorist organization and radical clerics are getting elected.
He off shored our jobs in the hundreds of thousands, endangering our industrial base, AS he gave tax breaks to companies for doing so.
He created the greatest degree of polarization of wealth since the late 1880's.
He (and all cons) took the greatest economic, industrial and diplomatic force the planet had ever seen and basically undid it.
You poor sad deluded fool. Don't you know that it was those Liberal, Leftist ideal and policies that produced the highest standard of living the world, yes the WORLD has ever known? Try learning some history before you make decisions.

The Bush administration orchestrated 9-11, it was an inside job. 9-11 was used as the excuse to go to war and heist the biggest budget surplus in US history.
It doesn't matter whether you vote Republican or Democrat, the US Govt. is a two headed snake!
There is no war on terror.

Calmly returning to the reading of "My Pet Goat" on 9-11.
That did it for me.
I expect my President to jump up and run around screaming like an idiot with his hair on fire everytime something bad happens.
If you can't do it live on TV in front of a classroom full of young children, what's the point of being President?
That lack of hysteria in the face of attack is frankly disturbing. There is no place in this world for the calm and measured consideration of the situation.

His biggest failure was being lazy leading up to 9-11. He never read his daily memos and ignored vital legitimate warnings compiled by the CIA and FBI. If he read his memos instead of "My Pet Goat" to a bunch of grade school kids, some preventative measures could have stopped the worst man-caused catastrophe on American soil.
