I think I might have missed a period. I honestly don't pay too much attention to it. My last one (I think) was April 8th. I don't remember having one at the beginning of May. My new box of tampons that I bought after my last period is still unopened, there were some left from the previous box. I have been getting heartburn in the evenings, sudden urges to pee, nausea, and diarrhea in the mornings. I took a test yesterday and it came out neg. (I got up all night going to the bathroom, so it wasn't after my first morning pee). When should I take another test? Are these signs of being pregnant or just a bug? My next period should be around May 5th. I know I can just go to a doctor but I don't want to go for no reason.

wow people can be pretty tacky and rude sometimes... I usually offer my opinion or advice to help people and to be nice but apparently not all people feel that way. Anyways I understood what you were tying to say, and first of all it is probably indeed to early for a hpt to detect at this point. Sounds like a lot of the symptoms I have and had before I found out, and I am now 8 wks along. I think you should def. wait until after the fifth to test again. I waited 4 days and then took 4 cheap tests from the dollar store and they were all positive, then did an EPT at home with my fiance that night. For now try not to worry about it or stress over it to much, although I personally know that is easier said than done, then test again in a week if you dont get a period. I would say it is def. possible if you have been sexually active. Hope this helps, Good Luck!

If the test came out negative then you're not pregnant. They're pretty accurate. If you're not expecting your next period until May 5th then the test wouldn't be able to read a pregnancy yet - and you wouldn't have any of those signs yet either

You could very well be pregnant. I had symptoms of early pregnancy before I got a positive test. I would test again tomorrow morning and if that's negative wait 1-2 days and test again. The hCG level rises in your urine very quickly, so a day can make a difference. Good luck to you!

no disrepsect intended but its not may. learn to read a flippin calandar. its april 27th you arent late. your not due til a week from saturday. also since you said you dont remember a period at the beginning of may theres a good reason for that its not may yet. read the calandar
go to the doctor then, your test was negative so your probably just skipping a month it happens to all women its called a cycle shift all women have them at some point in time

It may just be a bug, because your period is not due yet, it is still April.

it sounds like pregnant symptoms,some tests dont reveal + untill u are like 6 weeks early.i suggest u to either buy first responce and test yourself again or go to the doctor u just might be to early.

ok that is a sign of pregancy but try and take another test and see what happen ok if it is still negative go to the doctor.
