How long do you have until he comes home? If there is enough time, go out and buy stuff for his favorite dinner. Get a bottle of wine or something. Set the table really nice, with candles and some of his favorite music on. Take a shower, and put on his favorite outfit. When he comes home, tell him how much you missed him and how you thought of him all day. Ask him about the game. I am sure he won't want to talk too much about that. Tell him to go take a shower, and while he is, fix him a drink, and leave it in the bathroom for him.
Reason for my thinking? Because if you are bored, and can't find anything to do, and your man comes home to an unsatisfied wife, probably resentful that he left her home all day, you sure won't have a nice evening. You will probably ignore each other, and he will find an excuse to go to bed early, alone, because he is so tired from the game. Maybe I am wrong...but if I am not, the previous may work! Have fun...life is short, and so we make it what we will...enjoy!

Are you kidding. Enjoy. Call someone you've lost touch with. Read a book. Make strawberry daiquiris and take a bubble bath. Pamper yourself. He'll be glad to be home when he sees you looking refreshed and happy.
