Not really much you can do to prepare for a pandemic...if it's a superflu then it'll getcha no matter what...
There's a hundred things that can go wrong...the only thing you can do is take care of yourself and enjoy life while it's still reasonably care-free.

Don't be overwieght and exercise to stay healthy. WIll allow your body its best shot at fighting whatever comes your way. Perhaps invest in a box of N95 or better face masks.
