The modern enlightened world is considered by most social experts to be in what is called a post Judeo-Christian world. This is based on identification as a religious person but not adhering to the tenants of the faith they profess. This means that they say they are Christians but don’t go to church – go against church teachings or pretty much do their own thing. They fit the classical example of a hypocrite. I am not accusing them of that, just noting the classical term in its context.

Because of this “Falling away” from the morals of the earlier generations, the ability to distinguish right and wrong is clouded by what is called “Moral relativism” meaning that each person can decide for himself what is right and what is wrong. Or what is good and what is evil.

The media in these societies is controlled for the most part by “enlightened liberals” who are on the cutting edge of this new social order. They espouse things that would have been morally repugnant even 20 years ago and acceptable and even in the name of God.

In the US, most people believe in God, especially the common people.
The owners of the media, most of them don't believe in religion, or they act like they don't.
There are a few atheists who get mad when people act religious in public. Religious people like peace, so they keep their religion in private.
It is good to accept people with different beliefs. It is not good to be afraid to express your own religion.
